The glasshead barreleye fish (Rhynchohyalus natalensis) lives deep in the sea. Specifically this fish can be found at depths of between 800 metres to 1,000 meters in the Tasman Sea, off the coast of Australia.
This creature has 4 eyes!
It has two primary cylindrical eyes pointing upwards so it can see prey or predators silhouetted against the gloomy light above (it lives really deep in the ocean!). They second set of eyes are on the side of the head. This set has a mirror-like second lens and retina so that it see to the sides and below
The fish's extra pair of eyes give it 360° vision! This is not somethings that humans or many other animals have the ability to do. However, this fish lives deep below the ocean's surface in almost completely black waters.
